Standing with our neighbors impacted by homelessness
We work, side by side, with our neighbors, helping them identify and navigate available services, as they endeavor each day to address their basic needs, preserve their dignity, and bring stability into their lives.
Coming together as a caring community.
We facilitate collaborative engagement among local organizations, leaders, and residents, enabling them to share ideas, fill gaps in services, and coordinate work to support neighbors experiencing homelessness—and families at risk of losing their homes.
Pursuing solutions to expand housing security
We help our neighbors and local leaders understand how housing insecurity and homelessness hurt all of us—and how thoughtfully crafted housing policies, regulations, and programs can make Georgetown a better place for everyone.
WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Since our work began just over two years ago, we have helped more than 200 individuals progress along the path to stability.
We have helped people obtain or replace identification documents, assisted them in their efforts to find employment, helped them maintain phone service, provided guidance in identifying and applying for benefits when they are eligible, supplied them with a temporary mailing address, guided them along the path to permanent housing, and provided referrals to other resources.
As of September 2026, we have transported nearly 60 people newly released from the county jail back to their home communities, returning them to their familiar support networks and helping them avoid homelessness in Georgetown.
